An Indianapolis In-home Documentary Newborn Session — Indiana Birth Photographer

When Rachael reached out to me about the upcoming birth of her son, Damien, I was so excited! She was set to give birth in a month or so, and like with her first son Mathias, she wanted to document it with a newborn session.

In 2017, I met them at the hospital to document Mathias' fresh little features. This time, I went to their beautiful home. Even though the setting was different, it was like having flashbacks when laying eyes upon their newest little babe. He favored his big brother as a newborn all too much!

As usual, photographing their sweet family was nothing short of perfect. They cuddled on the couch, looked at Mathias’ newborn album, read a book, and then went to Damien's nursery for a change and swaddle. Soon, it was time to say goodbye. When I left, I was swooning with the knowledge that I'd left with some precious memories stored on my camera for them.
