An Indianapolis Intimate Maternity Session — Indiana Birth Photographer

There’s a part of my job that I just love before attending the birth of a baby - maternity sessions. They are my absolute favorite (aside from birth!). I think this is because I love the art of preserving two souls in one. Right now, your baby is still very much a part of you - and they will be forever! But there’s a sense of security with your baby still inside, and I strongly believe that time should be preserved.

After some heavy Pinterest pinning and searching for maternity session inspiration, Danielle decided she wanted a more intimate feel to her maternity images. I arrived to her home one afternoon, a few of my own house plants and some borrowed (thank Lacy!) props in tow, to find such a gorgeous light pouring into her upstairs master bedroom - where she will likely birth her baby! <3 To me that is such a special thing to realize! We tried to get Romy in a few pictures, which she kindly obliged to once I promised her that she could take a picture or two of Mommy with my camera. :)

The magic created here was beyond anything I could imagine - take a look for yourself and be sure to leave a kind word or two encouraging Danielle for the upcoming birth off her new baby!
