A Spring Creekside Maternity Session in Indianapolis — Indiana Birth Photographer

A few years back, I was acquainted with Anna at a Birth Story gathering. Yep! You read that right. A local doula who’d just relocated back to Indy from abroad wanted to host a gathering where others gathered and told their birth stories. Doing so can release so much built up tension from sometimes or otherwise traumatic events. I had two stories to tell myself - one traumatic and then one healing. It was a great gathering where we all connected on such a level that I’ll never forget. I remember Anna telling her birth story as well. Fast forward some years later, Anna reached out to me about a maternity session for her 3rd babe. I was happy to oblige! We started one afternoon on a warmer, breezier day and what we ended up with was nothing short of magic. She looked like such a goddess of the wood <3 We even found a bridge that had some gorgeous representative graffiti…Anna said that she felt the lion represented her power as a person carrying this beautiful life.
