A Fresh Baby Photography Session at IU North Hospital in Carmel, IN — Indiana Birth Photographer
I first met Nadia and her family a few years ago when their middle baby was still growing inside. They had hired me for her birth, and it was such an honor to witness. Nadia was ferocious in her birthing her second daughter, standing up beside the hospital bed with her husband right there comforting her through it all. They were so in sync. I know the birth of Neva was just as beautiful. I was able to join them on the last day of their hospital stay for a quick Postpartum session to capture all of the details of their new family, now with 3 girls. It was nothing short of sweet.
On a Spring morning in April, I arrived to their maternity suite at IU North. Their room was a bit dark, so we opened the shade to let all of the natural light in from the big window over the seating area (also where dad sleeps). I was able to photograph Nadia and Brian with Neva, taking in all of her tiny little features. She had a head full of hair! Soon, her two big sisters and “Nanny” arrived! The room became a beautiful chaos, with Nile and Nuri taking turns deciding who would hold the baby next, snacks, and sitting with Dad.
I immensely soaked up these moments with my camera: two big sisters curious and wondering with this new creation, and both parents just embracing this newness of life. And Grandma (Nanny) in love-ness of her newest grand-baby… It couldn’t have been any better. I enjoyed capturing the natural moments that occurred between all of them!
