When I first spoke with Ali about being her birth photographer and additional support in the birth room, we instantly clicked. Being held over Zoom most days, most consultations consist of kids and pets running around. I loved that I could fully relate with Ali in that aspect, being that our children are around the same age. It was still winter when we spoke, and we had just had one of our first and only big snows of the season! Expecting her third babe and boy, she was excited to speak with me about how I could offer something unique and necessary inside her birthing space.

Nadia was ferocious in her birthing her second daughter, standing up beside the hospital bed with her husband right there comforting her through it all. They were so in sync. I know the birth of Neva was just as beautiful. I was able to join them on the last day of their hospital stay for a quick Postpartum session to capture all of the details of their new family, now with 3 girls. It was nothing short of sweet.
